ALESSANDRO BERTONCELLO

Founder of progettozero+ (www.progettozeropiu.com) and capolinea design (www.capolineadesign.com), I hold a MA degree in Contemporary Art Theory and History. I worked as curator, artist and producer, realizing projects with – among others – Angela Vettese, Joseph Kosuth, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Tomas Saraceno, Giorgio Andreotta Calò.

I use different media, with no distinctions between personal, collective and curatorial projects. My personal production is a-stylistic and follows a research approach finalized to immediate fruition, where production and fruition process integrate each other. My interests focus on the concept of randomness in art and life (and on the possibility to define its rules), and on the concept of unity of opposites. I took part in exhibitions and curated, produced public art projects in Italy and abroad, in cooperation with universities, other artists and institutions.
